Mini Review: Maleficent Seven by Derek Landy
A brilliant hilarious one off novel in the Skulduggery Pleasant universe. Derek Landy novels tend to be surprisingly violent and dark for a children’s book, and this one is no exception, but it is stunningly entertaining. In this novel, it is the bad guys who take the stage. Tanith Low, now possessed by a remnant, recruits a gang of villains. Their orders are to track down and steal the four God-Killer level weapons that could hurt the Darquesse.
This story contains an endless supply of one liners and has a well written plot. Reading age 7 upwards.
