HOHS Hockey v Taverham Hall
13th November 2013

The U9 match started well, with Ashlyn Gibb dribbling up the wing and successfully passing the ball. The game progressed well and Olivia Hendrie scored the first goal of the match. We managed to defend our area with some good block tackles and some brilliant clearances from Annie Harris and Stella Girling. Anna Luterbacher did a sterling job as our fully kitted out goalkeeper.

During the second half Anna came out to defend, the ball moved up the pitch well and Fleur Barton-Grimley went on to score two further goals. The final score was 3 – 1 to HOHS.

Captain: Olivia Hendrie
Player of the Match: Ashlyn Gibb

The U11 game went well with some excellent dribbling and some good block tackles preventing the ball from going near our defending goal. Emily Grint was keen to get the ball up to the attacking end.  A few shots were made at goal but unfortunately with no success. Taverham came back through our defence to score 2 goals before half time.

The second half proved to be a defensive game, with Sarah Kendall performing some amazing saves. The final score was 4 – 0 to Taverham.

Captain: Emily Grint
Player of the Match: Sophie Barrow – for her brilliant defending and clearing.

Well done to all our players!

Miss Beale
