HOHS overrun by onesies for the day

129666966613239375Last Friday the school was overrun with onesies, giant teddy bears, zebras, tigers, kangaroos, giraffes and even a furry strawberry or two. Students and staff made a real effort to ‘dress down’ for the day and help raise lots of money for Children In Need.

As well as paying for the privilege of not having to get dressed that morning, there was also a Teddy Bear challenge and a ‘Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar’ game, run by Tabitha and her friends in Year 3.

We’re delighted to report that we donated an impressive £272 to Children In Need, so a massive thank you to everyone for all your support.

A special mention to Tabitha, who managed to raise £40 with her giant jar of sweets – the contents of which were divided up between the four pupils who guessed closest to the magic  number ‘111’. Plenty of teeth-brushing for them this week!

The winner of the teddy bear challenge has been chosen and Miss Mann will come and find the lucky winner when their prize arrives.
