I hope you all have had a lovely summer and the new term has started well.
At the end of the summer term I said farewell to HOHS after eleven years and I would like to thank you all for the truly amazing and emotional ‘send off’ you gave me. During my time at Hethersett I always felt very privileged to have had the opportunity to meet so many amazing families – thank you Mr Crump for giving me the position of the school’s Registrar.
HOHS will always be close to my heart in so many different ways, my mother has her friendship bench in the school grounds; Kelsey had an amazing HOHS educational experience which gave her the confidence to travel alone on her GAP year to Australia, New Zealand and Thailand, where she currently is. The experience Sam gained from running the after school club and football clubs was vital when applying for his PGCE which he was successful in gaining a placement at Norwich School.
I would also like to thank you for the wonderful gifts, cards and kind words which all have been very much appreciated. I adore my Pandora bracelet! I have worn it most days and have added some more charms, courtesy of the Admin Team – thank you.
My roses are still looking stunning in my garden along with my new outdoor lantern purchased with some of my John Lewis vouchers (I still have more to spend); I have managed to eat my through numerous boxes of chocolates, washed down by the odd glass of wine or champagne. The G&Ts were enjoyed during my weekend break in Southwold.
I wish you all and HOHS every success for the future and look forward to our paths crossing sometime soon.
With very best wishes,
Kim (Mrs Borrer)
