Green fingers and growing beans

There were lots of green fingers in the Reception class last week.

The children have been busy planting bean and sunflower seeds and are delighted with how they have grown. The beans are growing really fast and we are wondering if some of them may even grow as tall as Jack`s bean stalk from the story! The children have been really good at remembering to water them every day and they are keeping bean diaries to record how they are changing and how tall they are growing.

We even enjoyed gathering some flowers on our walk back after the weekly swimming lesson!
