Year 6 certainly impressed Mr Peace with the amount of homework that they completed over the Easter holiday! They were set four tasks, of which three were optional, and all were connected to the recent geography topic on ‘Rainforests’. The children had a choice of making a rainforest diorama in a box, a model of a rainforest home, or a decorated Kayapo headdress, or producing a short presentation of facts about the Kayapo people of the Amazon. Lots of merits were up for grabs and, following Year 6’s completion of seventeen projects in total, many certificates will be presented at the next Commendations Assembly! Well done, Year 6!
