Last term, Year 8 pupils took part in an auction task. They were divided into four groups and were given six problems to solve. Each group had £5 to bid for items that they might need to complete the six tasks, including pens, calculators and protractors. If their bids were too low, they might not get the materials they need, but if their bids were too high, they may not be able to buy enough items!
