A Level results – another successful year

The wait for Sixth Formers is over; the results are here and Hethersett Old Hall School pupils are celebrating another set of successful examination results.

With a pass rate of nearly 100% and over 60% of A Levels attaining the top grades, Mr Crump said “Training for the clergy, make-up for the film industry, songwriting, astrophysics, interior design – just some of the higher education paths chosen by sixth formers at HOHS in another successful year for the school’s leavers. With most of the students having a D of E Gold Award under their belt as well as good A Level results, they are well positioned to impress their universities and future employers with skills that go beyond the academic.

The EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) is now well established at the school and has proved popular with universities as it fosters research skills.  This has been another interesting and successful year, with 86% of the passes in this A-level standard qualification being at A or A* grades. The qualification enables pupils to explore a subject of personal interest to them – this year our girls have written songs, created books and conducted original research into their chosen areas.”

Many congratulations to all our girls. We wish them every success in the next stage of their education.
