Year 13 at the Forum

Year 13 girls had a guided visit to Norwich’s Millennium Library yesterday with Mrs Richards – and picked up some useful tips for research, as part of their Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). Nick Little from the Library introduced the girls to the Norfolk Heritage Centre,  which houses a host of  fascinating local studies items as well as free online resources and access to the most popular Norfolk Record Office archives. The girls were shown how to use the resources to find information on any person – using classmate Anna as an example to show that we are all on record!

Did you know…?

The EPQ is the equivalent of half an A Level and allows pupils to choose a topic that particularly interests them, research it thoroughly, produce an extended essay and then deliver a presentation about it.
