During this past half term, Mrs Richards took a group of ten GCSE drama pupils to see the acclaimed touring production of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ at Norwich’s  Theatre Royal, with Matthew Kelly in the role of Mr Bennett and Felicity Montagu as his insufferably snobbish wife.  As an Observer reviewer put it, “Celebrating the legacy of Jane Austen as we approach her bicentennial, this is Austen still dazzling after 200 years”. The girls enjoyed the play and worked with Mrs Richards afterwards to explore aspects of the production including the set, staging and acting during their drama lessons.
