Thank you to all the families who are taking part and donating a shoebox of toys and gifts for a child who would otherwise have very little.  Mr Peace has extended the deadline for bringing the boxes into school to next Monday 7th November.

Your box needs to be wrapped in seasonal paper, with the lid separately wrapped, and labelled with the age and gender you have decided on, using the ticked label on the leaflet which was sent home (ask at Reception if you have mislaid this). Please bring with your box a £3 shipping donation (in an envelope).

Items to include can be any of the following:

STATIONERY: pens, pencils, sharpener, crayons, stamp and ink pad set, writing pad, solar calculator, small colouring book etc

TOYS: small car, ball, doll, stuffed animal, puppet, small musical instrument (e.g. kazoo or harmonica), skipping rope etc

TOILETRIES: toothbrush, toothpaste, mild bar of soap (in a plastic bag), comb, hairbrush, flannel etc

OTHER: t-shirt, socks, cap, sunglasses, hair clips, toy jewellery, watch, small torch (with batteries) etc

PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE: used or damaged items, war-related items (e.g. toy knives, guns or military figures), chocolate, sweets, liquids or lotions, medication or vitamins, breakable items (e.g. snow globes or glass containers), aerosol cans etc
