Norfolk High Schools’ Choir Festival

Mrs Greene took a group of 21 girls from Years 7,9, 10 and 12 to the annual High Schools’ Choir Festival yesterday at St Andrew’s Hall in Norwich. Over 300 students from fifteen Norfolk high schools took part, performing en masse. The pupils rehearsed during the day in sections and together, filling the hall with lovely harmonies! The programme, performed to a public audience in the evening, included a variety of styles from Haydn’s oratorio ‘Creation’ and Bach to Michael Buble’s @Haven’t met you yet’ and a medley of ‘Bond’ themes. The girls worked extremely hard all day in order to learn all the repertoire and everyone enjoyed performing in the evening (even Mrs Maher who came with us this year). In between, they had a lovely meal in Zizzi’s. The first photo is from a previous year’s festival.
