Fairtrade Fortnight fun tomorrow!

Who’s heard of Fairtrade? A good number of hands shot up in Prep assembly this morning when Mr Peace asked this question…but by the end of the assembly EVERYONE knew that Fairtrade is all about making sure the farmers who grow our food get paid fairly for their produce. Miss Hopwood and Mrs Fox-Carter also told us all about Fairtrade Fortnight and about some special activities planned for the whole of the Prep Department to work on together tomorrow (check the blog in the evening to see what sweet things the children got up to!)

Meanwhile, thank you very much to all the families who are making us cakes and bakes to sell tomorrow, using Fairtrade ingredients. Please remember that the children will also need to bring in money tomorrow for the cake sale. All the money made will be given to the Fairtrade Foundation charity.
