Phase 3 pupils presented an excellent assembly yesterday, based on the Ancient Greek myths they have been studying in their English lessons. The audience of pupils, teachers and family members were treated to an outstanding performance of the story of King Midas, in which the children acted, danced and sang with confidence and beautifully clear voices. The tale ended with a song reminding us of moral that we should all follow: ‘It isn’t gold, it isn’t wealth, the most precious thing is life itself’, before the children spent some happy moments with their proud families.
A big thank you to all the parents, grandparents and family members who came along. They now know what their children are wishing for, thanks to the mini Powerpoint displays that appeared at the end of the assembly!
