HOHS Head of PE  Laura Woods was among more than 6,000 runners to complete yesterday’s Run Norwich 10km event – well done to her!  The route took competitors in a circuit around the city, passing landmarks such as the castle, cathedral and Carrow Road stadium, before finishing in front of City Hall.  Mrs Woods  writes:

“Congratulations to all those who ran in the Run Norwich 10k event yesterday,  Sunday 6th August. I ran on behalf of Great Ormond Street Hospital with a group of my friends.  I’m not as fast as the legendary Mo Farah but I still felt a huge sense of achievement, pride and relief when I crossed the finish line! Thank you to the crowds of people that supported all those who ran. The cheering really helps!! Enjoy the rest of your summer holiday.”

The Eastern Daily Press has a great gallery of photos from the event which you can browse here.
