Rosamaria and Sophie’s US adventure

Over the summer holidays, Rosamaria and Sophie (Year 10) have been with Rosa’s family to New York for a week before flying down to Orlando for another two weeks. In New York they visited the Empire State building, cruised on the Hudson river and wandered round Times Square, of course. Then it was off to Florida, where they had time to explore Universal Studios and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. They ate dinner in The Leaky Cauldron, bought a wand and rode on the Hogwarts Express train. They visited Islands of Adventure for more rides before heading to the NASA Space Centre to marvel at the Atlantis space shuttle. They even experienced a dolphin cruise on the Gulf of Mexico. Rosamaria said, “It was a fantastic holiday and great that Sophie came too…”

Lucky girls – and thank you for sending these pictures!
