Congratulations to Chloe!

Chloe  (Year 2) entered two LAMDA exams over the summer, one a solo Entry Level Award in Communication, for which she got a distinction scoring 99/100; and the second  a group effort for which her group scored 98/100. She received the results a couple of weeks ago and was super pleased!

You can find out more about the exams on the  LAMDA website. Please ask at Reception if you are interested in taking LAMDA classes via HOHS, with  our highly experienced tutor Jane Hardy.

Year 8 in Cromer

On a grey day yesterday our Year 8 girls went on a geography field trip to Overstrand and Cromer,  to study the sea defences and the impacts of tourism.

Everyone worked really hard – and the fish and chips were, according to the girls, one of the highlights!

Well done everyone.

Our ‘stars’ this week were…

Star-of-week

Our most recent ‘Stars’, receiving special mention by Mr Peace in today’s  Prep Department Praise Assembly, are:

Alfie (Year 2), for being punctual, sensible and always smart in his uniform. Alfie also did fantastic ICT work on the  Great Fire of London and a superb poster for homework!

Oliver (Year 1), for exceptional following of class rules, ALWAYS working hard and focusing well.  Oliver is also always very polite!

Harry (Reception), for trying very hard, always. Harry only joined us on September 18th and has settled in fantastically well and made friends already!

Jack (Nursery Yellow), for great improvement all round. Jack is much more settled and happy and demonstrated superb bravery demonstrating skills in the swimming pool!

Well done to all of these ‘stars’! The picture was taken in an earlier assembly and shows how well the children listen.

Who will it be next time?

We will welcome any contributions of  tins or dried produce and the other items listed on the flier below for our displays – please bring them into Reception any time up to Monday morning. Our donations will be collected by a representative of the Norwich Foodbank to help people in crisis.

Thank you so much for your support.

U13 hockey v New Eccles Hall

On a gloriously sunny afternoon today, we hosted New Eccles Hall for U13 hockey. I am thrilled to announce that we were victorious, securing a 5-0 win. Player of the match went to Rachel Y who scored a magnificent hat trick. Other goal scorers included Cristina and Ruby H. Great result ladies!!
