Musical Lunchtimes at HOHS

Pupils in Years 6-13 at HOHS can participate in enjoyable, fun and rewarding musical activities at lunchtimes – if you are in one of these year groups, come and join us!

Tuesday – Choir (Years 7 -13)
If you enjoy singing, come along and try the choir. Performances will include the High Schools’ Choir Festival at St Andrews’ Hall, the HOHS winter concert and the carol services in St Remigius’ church.

Wednesday – Rock Band (Years 7 -13)
Can you play guitar, keyboards or drums? Fancy yourself as a lead vocalist? Come and see Mr Dodd at 12.45 on Wednesday if you would like to give it a go!

Thursday – Orchestra (Years 6 – 13)
If you play an orchestral instrument come along to MU1 at 1.05pm on Thursday.

Friday – Flute ensemble (Years 7 – 13)
We have quite a few good flautists in the school and Miss Ellis is starting up a new flute ensemble. Just come along to MU1 at 1.05pm on Friday with your flute.

Your choice…
We have handchimes, recorders, ukuleles, and djembes all longing to be used by
interested groups! Let me know if you and your friends would like to start a group.
