The British Heart Foundation is running a Restart a Heart Day later this month. The day itself falls during half term so we are holding two short lunchtime sessions next Monday and Tuesday (9th and 10th October) from 12.50-1.20pm in the Quiet Room. We already have training manikins and other materials donated by the BHF for this purpose, so it is a good opportunity to use them.
Pupils in Years 6 and up are invited to come along to either of the sessions – parents, please encourage your child to do this.
Have a look at the BHF website for a story of Sarah, who saved her father’s life only two weeks after being trained in CPR at school.
