Hope you have great fun on your 4th birthday, Vera!
Parents, please note there are some changes to sporting activities next term on Thursdays and Fridays, which will now be:
THURSDAYS – PE
Cross country – all pupils will need outdoor games kit and plenty of warm layers. Please have indoor trainers as
well in case of very bad weather.
FRIDAYS - GAMES
Boys – football. Please send your son’s football boots if he has some, trainers if not, and shin pads (essential). He will also need to bring indoor trainers in
case of inclement weather, and plenty of warm layers!
Girls – netball. Please ensure your daughter has her full indoor games kit.
As always, please check that all your child’s kit is named.
Year 5 finished their science topic on Earth and Space at the end of term by designing and making models of the Solar System….here are some of them!
By the time this post is seen by Courtney, Ashley and Izzy, the snow will be a distant memory to them, as they have now returned to their homes in Australia and South Africa. The end of term meant saying fond farewells to this lovely trio, who, as our gap year tutors, were so much a part of our school family and helped in so many different ways in the year they spent with us. We wish the girls every success and happiness for the future!
We featured some pictures of Year 1 in the process of making Christmas table decorations a couple of weeks ago…and thought it was time we showed you the finished articles…we are sure they have been gracing the tables at home this week!
Year 4 spent some careful hours in their craft lessons last half term making these beautiful cushions…we couldn’t show them before because they were being wrapped up for Christmas presents. We are sure the lucky recipients loved them!
