On the last day of term we were treated to the annual Sixth Form panto, this year a seasonal take (loosely!) on Alice in Wonderland, with Charlie in the title role narrowly avoiding having her head cut off. As tradition dictates, the panto is written, performed and directed by our Year 12 and 13 girls and also features a motley crew of staff. The panto always entertains, and this year’s offering was no exception, with an appropriate amount of booing and cheering required from the appreciative audience of pupils and staff from Years 3 and upwards. It would be unfair to single out any individuals for praise, but it must be said that Miss Mann and Mrs Heppell offered particularly charismatic performances as Brussels sprouts.
