Our boarders have enjoyed a varied schedule of activities this half term: the pantomime, bowling, roller skating and making their own face packs.
Sleeping Beauty, at the Theatre Royal in Norwich, was a big hit with lots of “he’s behind yous” and booing and hissing. This is an annual trip for the boarders and they said it was as good, if not better, than previous years. You can read a review of the show here.
The bowling was surprisingly competitive, with clever use of the cushions and some friendly cheating going on. Highest score went to Mia and weirdest throw that scored a strike went to Ruby!
We have discovered that Sofia is something of a face pack fan. She had lots of ideas we could try out and is a face pack entrepreneur of the future. We used a combination of yogurt, lemon juice, honey, oats and sugar to make a collection of different products. The yogurt face pack and the brown sugar scrub were clear favourites. We also agreed that the warm porridge oats felt lovely on your face but were revolting to look at! Strictly no pictures were allowed!
Finally, we went roller skating on Saturday. Molly and our gap assistant bravely tried roller skating for the first time while a few of our more experienced students, including Taonga and Olivia, whizzed around the floor.
We wish all our boarders a happy half term break!
