This was a very busy week on the tennis courts at school.

Lower Prep

Congratulations to all of our mini tennis players in the Lower Prep School for successfully completing their level 1 tennis awards this term. They have all received their certificates this week!

Upper Prep

Our mini tennis players in the Upper Prep have worked very hard this week, developing technique on their groundstrokes and serves. I have been very impressed with their commitment, hard work and enthusiasm.

Senior School

This week we have worked on serving, rallying and tactical awareness. The standard of play has been very high and we have had great fun too!

Players of the Week

Matthias (Year 1) for brilliant groundstrokes and rallying.

Sophie (Year 2) for outstanding improvement with her racket skills and groundstrokes.

Chloe (Year 4) for excellent improvement with her serves.

Skyla-Grace (Year 7) for fantastic improvement and hard work with her groundstrokes and rallying.

Next week, throughout the school, there will be Easter egg hunts taking place at the end of every tennis lesson. Charlie the chic,  Betsy the bunny and their friends will be very busy next week hiding all the eggs! There will also be a ‘Highest Rally with the Coach’ competition and the winner will be presented with a Maltesers Easter Egg. Every pupil who hits a rally of 100 with me, will also receive an Easter Egg!
