This term saw our pupils play netball, badminton and football, swim in galas, hone our dancing and gymnastics skills and develop our fitness. Rugby tots continues to be a real hit for our youngest pupils. So much fun and enjoyment had by all!

We played 26 fixtures over the term and my personal highlight was our U16 netball match against Thorpe St Andrew School, where after being 8-1 down at half time the girls came back to win 14-13 – incredible!

Inter-house netball saw Ryder win both the Year 7-9 and Years 10-11 competitions, with some great skill on show.  Have a look at the short video clip from the Years 10-11 matches:
Our balcony area has been transformed into a fitness suite housing two treadmills, two bikes and a rowing machine. The suite is just awaiting the fixing of mirrors next week and will be open to pupils after the Easter break, so watch this space for some pictures!

As a busy term has passed, another one is forthcoming and there will be lots of rounders fixtures to announce soon!

Many thanks to Miss Wright, Mrs McEvoy and Katie Brooks for their continued hard work and dedication to the sport at Hethersett Old Hall School. An extra mention must go out to Mrs Maher who has been escorting us on all of our away fixtures. Without fail, she is there cheering our girls on through the wind, rain and the odd sunny day – thank you!

We hope you enjoy the gallery of pictures. Have a great Easter break, everyone!
