Winning, Witty Whittington!

Pupils from Years 3 to 6 delighted a packed audience in The Barn this evening with their first  performance of our Upper Prep production, Dick Whittington: a Summer Pantomime.  We won’t say too much about the show here because there is a second performance on Thursday evening – but suffice to say, those parents who haven’t yet seen it are in for a treat! A full review will follow at the weekend.

Fabulous Fete!

So many visitors commented on the lovely, friendly atmosphere at our fete today – it really was a wonderful day and,  with the sun shining warmly for most of the time, the last-minute rain didn’t dampen our spirits! Thanks to the PA for organising such a great event, and thanks to all who came – we hope you all had a great time! We think the pictures say it all….

Fete day tomorrow!

Our fun-packed fete is here at last – it’s tomorrow from 11am-3pm!  It’s been all go at school today for members of our hardworking Parents Association who have been busily setting up tables for the stalls and sorting the tombola and raffle (there are some AMAZING prizes!), as well as setting up equipment for the barbecue and various attractions. Don’t forget to tell all your friends to drop in – there’s fun for all the family, and it’s free!

Seniors entertain at Spring Recital

On Wednesday evening, parents, staff and friends were treated to a programme of accomplished solo, choral and orchestral pieces from some of our senior pupils. From Faure to Take That and from Strauss to a Spoonful of Sugar, the varied programme had plenty to please and gave pupils an opportunity to showcase their musical talents.

Three Cheers for The Big Sing!

Years 1-6 had a fantastic time on a warm and sunny day at the Norfolk Showground yesterday for The Big Sing! We were there nice and early and were given the very front row space. There were more than 9,000 pupils and teachers there from lots of schools so we were lucky to be so close to the stage!

Enjoy the gallery for pictures and the unfolding story in captions…

And today we saw a picture of ourselves in the papers!
