Albert and Oliver in Rugby Finals!

We would like to congratulate to Albert and Oliver in Year 5 for their success with their rugby team last weekend. The team they play for, the U10 team at Crusaders Rugby Club, Little Melton, played at Diss on Sunday in a regional Prima Cup competition. They won all their games which were scored on both sportsmanship and the core values of rugby. As a result, the team got through to the finals at Welford Road, the Leicester Tigers’ ground.

The finals are on March 2
nd and both the boys and the team are excited to be playing on the same pitch as their rugby heroes, in front of 1000s of people, and representing the region in the competition.

Well done, Albert and Oliver! We look forward to hearing how you and your team do in the finals.

£80,000 supercar driving experience for Lucy!

It may be three years until Lucy (Year 10) can  get her driving licence, but over the holidays she had her first driving lesson –  in an £80,000 Audi R8 supercar! Lucy completed several laps on a race track in Essex with her instructor, who was amazed that she had never driven before and said afterwards that she was a real natural. Lucy says she can’t wait to start having driving lessons now, and is going to start saving up for her own R8 ready for when she passes her driving test in 2020!

HOHS at the Royal Norfolk Show!

Despite heavy rain causing a bit of a mishap with our marquee the day before, we had a great two days at the Royal Norfolk Show this week and it was a delight to see so many current and past pupils and some former staff members, as well as chat to families interested in our school.

We were so proud of our pupils who won art and writing prizes at the Show and would like to thank Mr Crump and some of the parents who attended the presentations for these pictures, as well as the ones of the children enjoying themselves at the Show.

  • Did YOU capture any special moments at the show? Email them to marketing@hohs.co.uk and we will post the best on the blog and Facebook.
