Alice’s team wins National U16 cup!

Alice (Year 10) plays for Blofield United U16 football team – who last weekend were crowned national champions at the Pitchero Aces finals held at Nottingham University!
The annual tournament features teams from all around the country who have won local and regional grassroots league and cup competitions, with a total of almost 300 teams competing. Alice’s team earned their place by winning the Norfolk Women’s and Girls League (NWGL) U15 title last season. To scoop the U16 title at the Aces Nationals, after topping their initial group table they then beat the teams representing Nottingham (2-0 in the quarter-finals), Coventry (4-1 in the semi-finals) and Leicester (4-0 in the final).
Well done, Alice! Read more in the EDP here

Active Kids vouchers wanted!

Thank you so much  to everyone who has brought in Active Kids vouchers from Sainsburys  this year.  We will be able to swap them for some great sports equipment for use by all age groups.

The deadline is looming for the vouchers and we will be counting ours up and submitting them soon, so please bring any you still have into school by this Friday. The collection box is on the table just outside our Reception, clearly identifiable with the Active Kids branding. Thanks again!
