U9 and U11 hockey v NHSG

Both the U11 and U9 hockey teams were in action this afternoon against Norwich High School for Girls.  I am pleased to announce that we were victorious in both matches. The U11s secured a 5-0 win and the U9s won 1-0.  Both teams played extremely well together and deserved the win.  Player of the Match for the U11 team was Maxim, while Oliver took the honours for the U9 team.  The U11 goals were scored by Sophie, Maxim, Maisy (who scored 2) and Eve.  The U9 goal was scored by Chloe.  Well done everyone!

U9 and U11 hockey today

Parents of Years 3-6 children: please note that today’s game against Norwich High School for Girls is definitely going ahead. We will probably be playing in our sports hall as the field is likely to be unplayable.

The fixture starts at 2.30pm and finishes by 3.30pm so normal end of day routine will apply. You are very welcome to spectate from our balcony but please sign in at reception first.

Match report: U14/U16 badminton v Hethersett Academy

The U14 and U16 badminton teams played their first games of the season yesterday against Hethersett Academy. Although both teams lost by 3 games to 6, special thanks go to Anna L and Rebekah Y for stepping in at the last minute owing to illness.

  • Badminton club is held on Friday lunchtimes from 1pm, for all pupils in Years 3 upwards. It provides a wonderful opportunity to practise our skills and learn how to work together as a doubles pairing.

    U14 10-0 v Framingham Earl High School

The Under 14s hockey team played this afternoon against Framingham Earl School and were triumphant with a 10-0 win! Great goal-scoring skills were on show with Mia scoring a mighty six goals. Player of the Match goes to Ashlyn who worked tirelessly in defence and as a consequence, no goals were scored.

Well done girls, it was thoroughly enjoyable to watch you play at a higher level whilst playing on astro turf.
