What is your role at HOHS?
I have been the Reception class teacher since September 2008.

What is your favourite thing about HOHS?
The happy, friendly family atmosphere.

What is your favourite memory of your own time at school?
I was lucky enough to have amazing grounds to play in at school and I loved making dens in the Summer time.

What was your favourite subject at school and why?
English. I love to read a good book.

What was your  least favourite subject and why?
Probably Latin. I didn’t particularly enjoy learning “Virgil” off by heart.

If you could go back in time and give your “younger” self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Don`t worry so much about things and just “go for it”!

Tell us something interesting about yourself that your pupils wouldn’t know.
I used to “tread the boards” before I had my own children and have performed twice on stage with Barry Manilow as part of his backing group and tap danced with Roy Castle.
