Outstanding Work

This term, Phase 2 have been learning stories from other cultures. Last week we read ‘Handa’s Hen’. We found out that the story was set in Africa! Edith retold the story in her own words. What fantastic work!

Oxbourgh Hall

Standing still reaching upwards into the sky,
Motionless closing in closer and closer until the sunset closes in.
At darkness it stays fixed to the ground,
until daylight reveals its beauty.
The spacious surroundings stretch over the Savana,
Its trunk stretches up higher and higher.
It plods on and into its future through time,
Its patterns show how ancient the enormous creature is.

Well done Gabriella!
