What is your role at HOHS?
My role at HOHS is to teach PE, which I just love!

What is your favourite thing about HOHS?
My favourite thing about HOHS is the calm environment full of polite, pleasant students willing to learn.

What is your favourite memory of your own time at school?
The feeling of pride when receiving exam results, meeting life-long friends and being part of the sports teams of course!

What was your favourite subject at school and why?
Easy, PE without a doubt! I enjoyed the variety of sports, the fixtures against other schools and competing at County level in artistic gymnastics.

What was your  least favourite subject and why?
History – too many dates to remember!

If you could go back in time and give your “younger” self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Always tell your family and friends you love them. It’s something I didn’t do, but now that I am a parent I love hearing it from my own children ❤️

Tell us something interesting about yourself that your pupils wouldn’t know.
I come to HOHS with 13 years of teaching experience, including being a Head of Department of a large school in Norwich for 6 years. I left there when my second little girl came along as I wanted to spend more time with my children whilst they were little.

I love photography and have my own business photographing weddings and family portraits. I hate snakes, enjoy going to a Boot Camp for Fitness and love spending time with my family and friends!
