Isabelle is U14 doubles Norfolk Schools Champion!

Isabelle S (Year 9) competed in the Norfolk U14 Schools Badminton competition at the weekend.  She played against a large entry of the best players from across the county and, after some exciting games, won both the girls and mixed doubles competition and was runner up in the girls singles! Congratulations, Izzy, on this fantastic achievement.

Art and poetry awards at the 2015 Royal Norfolk Show


Organisers of the Royal Norfolk Show this week announced the winners of the prestigious schools art and poetry competitions. These attract hundreds of entries from schools around Norfolk – and HOHS has scooped many of the top prizes and awards!

All the winning, runner-up and commended entries will be displayed at the Show itself at the beginning of July so we hope as many of you as possible will proudly visit the marquee!

Izzy crowned Norfolk Schools Champion!

badmintonsmIsabelle (Year 7) competed – and triumphed – in the Norfolk Schools badminton competition last weekend. She played a large number of games and went on to win the level doubles against tough competition. Izzy and her partner Charlotte won in 3 sets to be crowned Norfolk Schools Champion.

The following day, Izzy played in yet another Norfolk competition. With over 40 participants taking part, March Madness is a fun competition to mark the end of the season.

Izzy played extremely well and went on to win both the ‘Top U12 Girl’ and ‘Best Sports Girl’ awards.
