Year 7 held a cake sale at lunchtime the day before the end of term in aid of their chosen charity Hope into Action, which provides homes for the most vulnerable in society in partnership with local churches. Plenty of pupils and staff came along and bought tasty treats. The sum raised will be announced later, but meanwhile, well done, girls, for bringing our attention to this very worthwhile cause, and thank you to all the girls and parents who made or donated items to sell.

Ellie and Leoni (Year 6) worked very hard making and baking marshmallow snowmen and other delicious and pretty things to sell at their cake and Hama bead sale on Friday. Their stall was so busy that they almost sold out of everything, raising £46.66 for Wellchild. Ellie’s mum is training for the next London Marathon in aid of the charity, which helps get seriously ill children across the UK out of hospital and cared for at home. Well done, girls!
