A reminder that our Mini Tennis programme will be resuming from tomorrow – look out for details of the fun activities our coach Katie Brooks has in store for this term!
The picture below will be a trip down memory lane for some of our pupils who have grown a little since it was taken!

The 5th annual Hethersett Open Weekend will this year be on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th July.
This year, the programme consists of 4 main events:
On Saturday 5th July at the Memorial Playing Field will be a “Come & Try” event. The event will run from midday to 4pm and will be lead by Peter Hoult, Peter Steward, supported by Active Norfolk and a plethora of volunteers. The event will feature a number of sports to try including Archery, Football, Cricket, Cycle Speedway, Bowls and many more. There will also be a BBQ.
At 10am On Sunday 6th July at the Social Club, there will once again be a multi-denominational service, lead by Rev. Derek MacClean.
At 11am starting from outside the Junior School, there will be the “Run the Square” fun run, with warm-up routines kindly demonstrated by Olympic Athlete Paul Evans who is also our honorary starter this year. All finishers will once again receive a commemorative medal and digital timing will be in place courtesy of the Hethersett Community Clock, which has been funded in 2014 by a kind grant from South Norfolk Council. Thank you to the Hethersett Schools for supporting this event. Entry forms will be available on-line via the Village website, Schools and from the Library at the end of May. The usual Roads will be closed to all traffic for a period of 1 hour from 10:45am.
A new event on the Sunday evening is an appearance of the “Wymondham Rock Choir” in concert at St Remigius. For timings and ticket details, please keep your eyes out in the local press and village website. All proceeds will be going to the Church Fabric and Repairs Fund.
Thank you once again to all the committee members, volunteers and community at large for their on-going support of Hethersett Open Weekends.
