Put your pencils away, Years 3 and 4!

Years 3 and 4 worked very hard this term in DT on their ‘pencil cases’ topic – and look at the brilliant results! They each sewed their own cases, complete with initials, zips, poppers and buttons. Mrs Sinclair said, “I am really impressed with how the children’s sewing skills have progressed throughout the term – now they are looking forward to trying out their new pencil cases!”

Birds will be nesting in style…thanks to Year 7!

Year 7 have been using a variety of workshop and woodworking techniques to build bird boxes to their own designs. Here they are working on them yesterday: we hope to feature the boxes again when they are finished and painted ready for some feathered friends to move in!

Flying and racing in the DT room

During their science lessons last term, Year 6 learnt about the application of electrical circuits.
