Ryder triumphs in house netball matches

On a much warmer afternoon than we have had to contend with lately, Ryder were yesterday crowned champions of the Years 10 and 11 netball house matches. Runners-up were Fry. Well done! You can watch some video highlights below.

Years 7-9 played on Wednesday afternoon and, once again, Ryder were victorious, though this time Austen beat Fry into second place.

Sports Hall Balcony Transformation…

Look what’s happening on the balcony in the sports hall!  This area of the balcony is being transformed and will  soon be home to two new treadmills, two new sit-on exercise bikes and a new rowing machine. A huge thank you to the PA and the school for their continued support in various projects. Watch this space for further developments!

U14 10-0 v Framingham Earl High School

The Under 14s hockey team played this afternoon against Framingham Earl School and were triumphant with a 10-0 win! Great goal-scoring skills were on show with Mia scoring a mighty six goals. Player of the Match goes to Ashlyn who worked tirelessly in defence and as a consequence, no goals were scored.

Well done girls, it was thoroughly enjoyable to watch you play at a higher level whilst playing on astro turf.

Match report: U9 & U11 hockey v Old School Henstead

Our younger age groups were in action yesterday at a very sunny but bitterly cold Old School Henstead. Sadly both teams lost but we have developed our skill level and realised the importance of passing the ball wide into space.

Player of the match for the U9 team: Oliver

Player of the match for the U11 team: Maxim

Great effort everyone!
