First Ballet Club of Term…

Here are our little ballerinas this afternoon enjoying the first Ballet Club session of term!
Ballet Club is free for our Lower Prep girls and boys and runs every Monday afternoon from 3.oopm-3.45pm in the Lower Prep Hall.

Pupils learn basic steps and technique and have fun acting through dance. They also learn all about professional ballet dancers and enjoy lots of dance stories too!

Please wear clothing appropriate for dance – a leotard, tights and a cardigan or leggings/shorts and a t-shirt. Ballet shoes are recommended but not essential.

Joyeuses Pâques from Year 2

Year 2 had a very creative French lesson with Mrs Evers-Jones in the last week of term, colouring and cutting out pretty little Easter baskets and learning the names of many colours and Easter-related words.

Taekwondo competition success

Last Friday,  Sarah K (Year 9), Poppy (Year 6) and Adam (Year 3) were at UEA for a Junior Taekwondo competition – and they came away with a haul of medals between them! Poppy took the Gold for Patterns and the Silver for Sparring;  Adam scooped Silvers in both Patterns and Sparring in his category and Sarah also won Silver for Patterns. As a green belt, she was the highest ranking competitor at the event and was not eligible to compete in the Patterns category.  Congratulations to all three pupils!

Note-perfect for Year 2

Our Year 2 pupils were enjoying a recorder lesson (and sounded very tuneful!) when I popped in with the camera last week. Impressive concentration and technique, Year 2!
