Our younger age groups were in action yesterday at a very sunny but bitterly cold Old School Henstead. Sadly both teams lost but we have developed our skill level and realised the importance of passing the ball wide into space.

Great effort everyone!

Match report: HOHS Year 7 netball v Open Academy

Netball-HOHS

On Wednesday afternoon, in addition to hosting two hockey matches against Thetford Grammar School,  we welcomed Open Academy to play our Year 7 netball team. This was another superb result with the team securing a 4-1 win. The girls listened well to instructions and massively improved as the game progressed: a well-deserved win, well done, girls!

Match report: HOHS U12/U14 netball v Taverham High School

The U12 netball team had their first fixture on Wednesday against Taverham High School. Lots of positive skills on show and great team work ensured them a
5-2 victory – what a wonderful start!

The U14 team were also in action against a very tall Taverham side! Despite a valiant effort the final score was a 19-16 loss – which in netball terms is a small margin.

Well done, everyone!

Match report: U9 & U11 hockey v St Felix School

Last Friday saw us play a very strong St Felix School at hockey. Despite our best efforts, both the U9 and U11 teams lost. However, this was the first match for many of our pupils and an opportunity to experience the challenge of playing a new opposition and work on some of our basic hockey skills.
