Who ran the HOHS Sport Relief mile today?

This morning lots of our pupils took part in the Sport Relief mile, around our cross-country track,  many in fancy dress (can you spot Mrs Grove in a fetching blue onesie, too?)

Watch this space for details of how much we raised from our collection of a £2 entry fee for each participating pupil. Well done, everyone: a fun way to start the day and end the term!

Run yourself proud on Friday!

It’s Sport Relief this weekend and Miss Mickleburgh has organised a fun mile run around our own cross country track. It will start at 9.15am and is open to ALL pupils from Year 1 upwards, who can come in either fancy dress or full PE kit. The £2 entry fee, which goes to the Sport Relief charity,  needs to be brought into Reception in an envelope with your child’s name on it by Friday, please!

Sport Relief 2014

On Monday 24th March, Years 2-6 took part in their Sport Relief mile.

sport_relief_round_2014_0The pupils all ran the first lap with ease and for the second and third lap it was made a little bit more exciting, with the addition of footballs, netballs and rugby balls. All the pupils completed the mile and it proved to be a fun and rewarding event.

Nursery, Reception and Year 1 also completed their class mile on Thursday in the warmth of the sports hall. See all the photos here.
