Eve’s Synchronised Success!

Congratulations to Eve (Year 5),  who yesterday travelled to Colchester to compete in the ASA East Region Championships synchronised swimming championships. Eve, who is 10, competed with her Norwich team in the U15 category, because two of her team mates are turning 13 this year and therefore did not qualify for the U12s. Despite coming up against much older competition, Eve’s team won the team Gold medal – and Eve also scooped the individual Silver!

Eve’s Synchronised Success!

Last Saturday Eve S (Year 5) attended a synchronised swimming regional grading day in Hertford, and passed her Figures Grade 1. The assessment involves successfully performing a range of elements, from splits on land to a back tuck somersault, inverted splits and several challenging floating positions. Here she is practising a hanging vertical position and (top) wearing the Norwich synchro club T-shirt on competition day.  Well done, Eve!
