Farewell party for departing staff

During the last week of term staff enjoyed a farewell party for Mrs Borrer, Mrs Hall, Mrs Halford, Mrs Thorman and Mrs Young – the five long-serving members of staff leaving HOHS.

It was a lovely evening filled with delicious food, plenty of reminiscing and a friendly game of croquet out on the lawn!

An extra special assembly

On the last day of term the Prep School held one final assembly to say goodbye and thank you to five very special members of staff.

Mrs Thorman, Mrs Halford, Mrs Hall, Mrs Borrer and Mr Borrer were all given a sticker by Mr Peace (as is the custom in assembly!) and then presented with gifts, including a wonderful book filled with self-portraits drawn by each child, from Nursery through to Year 6.

Mr Borrer also received a football themed card and a Brazuca 2014 World Cup football signed by all the children, as a thank you for the hard work he has put in with the Prep School football team and the after school clubs.

It’s a STRIKE!

Miss Boscaratto after sending the pins flying!

Sixth formers and staff met up in Norwich on Sunday for a friendly bowling contest at Riverside.

The occasion was two birthdays: Dani in the Lower Sixth had celebrated hers on Friday and Miss Mann’s was on Sunday. Miss Mann was delighted to receive two cakes (one from staff and one from the girls) and both were enjoyed by all!

Top scorer of the afternoon was Mr Johnston.
