An explosion of colour in the Nursery!

Our Nursery children have been talking about fireworks – the colours they make, and the noises – and learning about firework safety in preparation for bonfire night. They have also created these beautiful firework paintings!

Calling all pupils and staff: it’s time to get snap happy and dig through your digital prints.

The theme for this House Photography Competition is ‘Autumn’.

There will be 5 categories:autumn09_large

  • Upper Prep School
  • Years 7, 8 & 9
  • Years 10 & 11
  • Sixth Form
  • Staff

Closing date: Wednesday 6th November. 

Photos should be printed onto paper (no larger than A4), with your name, house and year written on the back.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners of each category will be displayed from the 11th – 22nd November. The winners will be selected by an independent person.

Please help your house win!

House Photography Competition

Calling all pupils, parents and staff: it’s time to get snap happy and dig through your digital prints.

The theme for the House Photography Competition is Winter Wonderland. You can enter any wintry picture that you have taken (it does not have to contain snow.)

There will be 5 categories:

  • Sixth Form
  • Years 10 & 11
  • Years 7, 8 & 9
  • Upper Prep
  • Parents and Teachers

Closing date: Entries to Mr. Johnston by Friday 8th February. 

Photos should be printed onto paper and should be no larger than A4. The best photos will be displayed and there will be a small prize for the winner of each category.

The winners will be selected by a professional local photographer.

Help your house win!

Every person that enters will score 1 mark for their house, so please put your name, form and house on the back of your photo.
The winning entry in each category will score 5 points for their house and the photo in second place in each category will score 3 points.
The winning house will be the one with the highest score over all.
