The future starts here…

Year 12 will be attending the  Norfolk Higher Education Exhibition at UEA tomorrow.  With UCAS experts, university and college representatives from over 100 institutions and industry professionals present, it gives the girls a great opportunity to learn about the many possibilities open to them after their A levels.  They will be able to attend seminars on how to choose a university and find out what life is like on a university campus as well as talk to experts about options other than going to university.

Watch this space for pictures and the girls’ feedback from the event!

Year 12 visit higher education convention

Year 12 attended a useful higher education convention at UEA this week.

After speaking to representatives from numerous universities and collecting bags full of prospectuses to browse through, we went to several talks covering a variety of useful topics such as choosing courses and preparing an art portfolio, as well as those dealing with specific courses, from business to medicine.

The day was useful for focusing minds on what the girls are planning at the end of Year 13, and will be followed up with plenty of individual advice and guidance from staff here in the coming months.
